The Compendium of Cultural Policies & Trends is pleased to welcome two new members to our growing community of cultural policy experts!
Following recent recommendations, the Compendium Association Board has selected:
🇩🇰 Denmark:
Astrid Elisabeth Jessen is a cultural policy researcher and analyst specialising in Danish cultural policy-making, governance structures, and stakeholder relations. She has experience working across academic research, cultural policy administration, and sector analysis, with a strong focus on translating national cultural policy developments into comparative Nordic and European perspectives.
🇮🇸Iceland:
Erla Rún Guðmundsdóttir is director of the Creative Industries Research Center (CIRC) in Iceland, holds a master’s degree in cultural economics and management and has been working in research and cultural statistics in Iceland for nearly a decade.
Over the coming months, both experts will collaborate with the Compendium team to update and enrich the cultural policy profiles for their respective countries, contributing valuable expertise and fresh perspectives to the platform.
