Heidi Heinonen is an information specialist with extensive experience in cultural policy, education, and library sciences.
She currently works at the Boekman Foundation, where she curates and manages the library collection, provides research support, and participates in professional networks and conferences focused on cultural policy. From 2007 to 2021, she held a similar role at LKCA, specializing in cultural education and participation policy in the Netherlands, and contributing to European initiatives such as ACEnet.
With a Master’s degree in Film and Television Studies from the University of Amsterdam and a background in arts and crafts education from the Åland Islands (Finland), she brings a broad and interdisciplinary perspective to her work.
Fluent in Dutch, Finnish, Swedish and English, she combines research skills with an interest in international collaboration and cultural development.
