Monique Borsenberger has worked as a social researcher at LISER (previously CEPS/INTEAD) since 1993.
Her current research focuses on social cohesion, values, religion and cultural practices. She holds a Master in Sociology (FR) and a Master in Geography (FR/DE) and is currently doing a part-time PhD in Social science at Social Research Institute (SRI) at University College London (UCL).
Between 2009 and 2012, she coordinated the research unit “Social Links” dedicated to the analysis of social cohesion, values, culture, religion, and intergenerational solidarity.
From 1994 to 2010, she acted as national expert for different research groups at European level.
