A. Population Statistics

In order to frame some of the information and data presented in the Compendium profiles on, for example, cultural minorities or per capita spending on culture, Tables A.1 and 2 were constructed to provide users with the latest available population figures as well as data on population growth, density and the share of non-nationals.

These tables draw upon a variety of sources such as Eurostat, the UN World Population Prospects and, especially in some of the East/South East European countries, on data provided in Compendium country profiles.
