Indicators presented in the table were selected from the 2005 OECD PPP Benchmark Data on real expenditure per capita on GDP (Table 1.8) for European countries by the ERICarts Institute. This data is based on the results of a joint survey carried out by Eurostat and the CIS countries.
*)  PPP = Purchasing Power Parities. PPP currency conversion rates convert to a common currency and eliminate the
     differences in price levels between countries in the process of conversion.
