Monitoring Intergovernmental Instruments Related to Cultural Diversity

The Compendium Community of Practice has been engaged in discussions on how to monitor key international and/or European instruments which have an impact on the development of national cultural policies, strategies and measures aimed at promoting cultural diversity.

Two key instruments have been selected as a first step:

The UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (2005)

The European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages (1992)
