Artsvi Bakhchinyan is an expert in the field of cultural policies, literature and film and a freelance translator. He holds a Ph.D. in Philology from the Institute of Literature of the National Academy of the Republic of Armenia and received his Diploma in Armenian Language and Literature from the Yerevan State University. He worked as an expert for the Cultural Policy Strategy Plan of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia. Before he was festival programmer of the International Film Festival Golden Apricot Yerevan. Artsvi Bakhchinyan was cultural and scientific expert for the Armenian Center for National and International Studies and worked as programme coordinator for arts and culture in the Armenian branch of the Open Society Institute. He published and translated more than 300 articles and translations in Armenian, Russian and English periodicals on literature, art and Armenian Diaspora. Artsvi Bakhchinyan is the author and editor of several national and international publications in the field of Armenian film, music, literature and cultural relations.
