Stefan Çapaliku is professor at the University of Shkodra and member of the Albanian Academy of Arts in Tirana. Professor Çapaliku received his B.A. and Ph.D. in Albanian language and literature at the University of Tirana.

Alongside his academic career, Prof. Çapaliku is and has been a member of several national and international cultural and cultural policy institutions and organisations such as the Artistic Board of the National Theatre; Member of the Scientific Board of the Institute of Language and Literature; Representative on the Cultural Committee of the Council of Europe; and on the National Committee of UNESCO. He is a publisher of lyrical prose, plays and literary-scientific work. He is the winner of two literary awards.
